About Us

St. Gregory of Nyssa was founded on July 1, 2023 as a result of the merger of St. Marceline Parish (founded in 1966) and Church of the Holy Spirit Parish (founded in 1972). While our parish name is new, we have a long, rich history between the two churches that make up our parish.

We serve about 2,000 people every weekend at our five Masses.  We have many programs and services that serve our diverse group of faithful parishioners and many other non-parishioners across our community.

The Parish is led by Fr. Jeremy Thomas as pastor and Fr. Augustine Mahonge as associate pastor. They are supported by several visiting priests, our parish Deacons and their wives, our amazing parish staff, and many others that volunteer their time and talent to make St. Gregory of Nyssa Parish an amazing place to enrich our faith, which we, in turn, take out to the community to spread the Gospel message.
